Time: 2 hour Workshop

Create a one-of-a-kind bangle bracelet with various dried flora and foliage, sourced from a local Fresh Cut Flower Farm, using a resin and mold technique.  Discover the beauty and simplicity of creating fine art jewelry inspired by the natural world. A fun, creative, carefree process that anyone can learn quickly especially with an educated instructor at hand. Each bracelet is designed to your own taste - what flowers, how many, what colors, placement - that is all up to you! Have fun creating a unique accessory in such a memorable way!


In this workshop, we will:

  • learn about the resin and mold technique

  • explore the types of dried flowers provided 

  • learn basic art design theory to aid in the jewelry making process

  • create a clear resin botanical bracelet, unique to each guest 

The following supplies are included:

  • Variety of Dried Flora & Foliage

  • Clippers/Scissors/Chopsticks

  • Glitter (for added color in resin)

  • Bracelet Molds

  • Resin (Pouring cups & stir sticks)

Experience:

  • open to all levels including beginners

You will go home with:

  • After the bracelet has cured properly in the mold for ample drying time, you get to take home a gorgeous one-of-a-kind botanical bracelet handcrafted by you!

*** Resin take 2-3 days to cure. Students will plan to come back to Foundry to pick up the finished piece or make arrangements to have shipped.

Instructor: Kalee Doeing is a local artist who has recently fallen in love with plants. She LOVES teaching about DIY gardening crafts. She fostered her love of art through grade school and even has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Ceramic Arts from Wells College, Aurora NY. Her art has driven her to travel to interesting places like Alaska and Florence for study and internship."
