10/20: Pet Portrait
10/20: Pet Portrait
Location: 416 E. State Street - Loading Dock
Date: Sunday: October 20th - 3:00-6:00pm
Time: 3 hour workshop
Talented Artist Anna will guide you from a blank canvas to a beautiful self painted image of your pet in only a couple hours. She will teach general techniques to the class as a whole, as well as work with everyone one on one guiding them through their painting. All along the way we will be partying it up with music and laughter. In this workshop, we will be painting a colorful portrait of your pet. Anna will help teach and guide the class and each student individually from a pencil sketch of their pet/animal to your own creative painted rendition. Beverages and snacks will be provided!
What we will supply:
color photo of your pet
16x20 canvas with your pet stenciled out with pencil
paint on a paper plate
cup of water to clean brushes
Note from Anna: Regardless of age, demographic or skill level, I believe that Art is for anybody. I pride myself in creating a fun "painting party" where other's and myself may relax and enjoy painting in the moment. While we paint people eat and drink, dance to my dad music, and we laugh about my bad puns. I want people to enjoy themselves and they are usually surprised by their capability! This class is different from my usual public parties at which we all paint a variation of the same painting, because everyone will be leaving with a painting of their own pet! This class is so much fun because we know we all love our pets.
What you will go home with:
A finished painted piece of their pet or animal of choice!

Instructor: Hi I'm Anna Pausch, and I grew up in the Finger Lakes! As a local Artist, I wanted to start my own small business that would blend the colorful beauty of this area with its vibrant community. So I created "Paint with Anna", the only local "paint and sip" in between Cayuga and Seneca Lake. I work with local businesses to create a variety of fun indoor and outdoor environments for us to paint for fun and for good causes!
